Contactless charging, designed for AGVs and AMRs.
AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) and AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) share the same need: to stop for long charging sessions no more. Whether they follow a fixed route or navigate freely, EV-WAVE recharges each robot across its stops, with no cable and no human intervention.
The weak point of AGVs: immobilization for charging.
Contact-based charging systems (pantographs, connectors, conductor rails) require precise positioning and wear over time, particularly in dusty or humid environments. Every contact fault translates into a line stoppage or a maintenance call-out.
EV-WAVE inductive charging integrates directly into the existing stop points of the AGV circuit — charging station, drop-off zone, end of line — without adding a step or any plug-in equipment.
- Integration into stop points already present along the route
- Tolerance to wire-guidance or tape-following misalignment
- No mechanical contact exposed to wear
Opportunity charging, designed for free navigation.
Unlike a wire-guided AGV, an AMR does not follow a fixed route: it dynamically chooses its path according to the tasks to be carried out. Its charging points must therefore be spread across the space and accessible from any area of the warehouse.
An EV-WAVE inductive charging point can be placed on the floor or fixed to the wall at every frequent passing zone: waiting area, rack exit, control station. The robot stops there for a few moments between two tasks and sets off again with a replenished battery.
- Several charging points spread across the navigation area
- Frequent micro-charges rather than full cycles
- Wall or floor installation depending on the site layout
AGVs and AMRs in the field

Where AGV and AMR fleets run non-stop
Industrial assembly
Feeding automotive, aerospace or home-appliance lines with AGV shuttles between stores and workstations.
Order picking
Goods-to-person AMR robots carrying totes to picking stations, at a continuous pace.
Multi-shift operation
AGV and AMR fleets active 16 to 24 hours a day, where every minute immobilized for a full charge costs capacity.
One single station for all your guided vehicles and mobile robots.
The 10–60 V voltage range covers the vast majority of battery architectures used on AGVs and AMRs on the market, making it possible to deploy a shared charging infrastructure without depending on a single manufacturer — fixed route or free navigation.
